About Me

Hi! I’m Jack, the Head Coach of Rethink Coaching.

Helping people work towards their goals has always been a passion of mine. Whomever that may be, I felt that I could make a positive difference.

After 4 years of working in the Civil Service, receiving professional training on supporting others to work towards their goals and delivering specific programmes designed to encourage people to live their best lives, I decided to take these experiences and use these skills more broadly. I have coached 100+ people to reflect on their goals, achievements, and emotional wellbeing in my previous roles. I want to take that experience and provide a service I believe is lacking in the public domain.

I firmly believe that with the right coaching, individuals can thrive to achieve their goals and to manage their lives as effectively as possible. It was because of this that Rethink Coaching was born, and with it, Rethink Coaching’s bespoke motivational and wellbeing programme, CLARITY. More information about CLARITY and services are readily available via the CLARITY tab, and I would be more than happy to discuss more during a complimentary consultation. All I need is a few details to set up a time for us to discuss.

In time, I plan to expand Rethink Coaching to involve other coaches and to widen our scope to support as many people as possible. This includes reaching businesses to help staff manage their own mental wellbeing and academic institutions to encourage students to take ownership of their journeys.

I am also undergoing training to gain a Level 3 Personal Trainer accreditation, alongside a Level 4 Nutrition for Weight Management & Athletic Performance qualification. These services will be readily available upon completion of assessments.

Please note - coaching should never be misinterpreted for therapy. There may discussions had which reveal a body of work more suited to a mental health professional. However…I am also a firm believer that with the right coaching, people can benefit from exploring things before they get to a crisis point or get put on waitlists which seem to be, unfortunately, taking too long to support people. Rethink Coaching’s aims and objectives are to help people help themselves, by openly discussing how they manage situations, view goals and barriers, and navigate through life

Experience

I have experience in coaching people from diverse backgrounds. My experience includes from coaching young adults (16-18) right up to coaching people in their 70s and 80s. Embracing people from all walks of life, my work has been holistic and has always centred on the people I have been working with. After all, you know yourself better than anyone else! Throughout my previous work, I have strived to encourage people to behave independently and in their best interests, and to consider what will benefit them.

Throughout my time in previous roles, I have received ongoing CPD training to ensure that my skills were strengthened and developed continuously. This is something I am looking to continue with this venture, and will be readily applying new learning to maintain professional development.
